Have you ever noticed how quickly a funky mood can hijack your entire day?

I had one of those mornings last week. You know the kind—woke up on the wrong side of the bed, spilled my smoothie (the good stuff, too!), and felt that icky cloud of heaviness settling in, did I mention it was raining. My mind was running an old script: "Push through it. Don't let anyone see."

But then I remembered something powerful: moods aren't ME—they're chemistry.

That slight perspective shift changed everything. Instead of being consumed by the mood, I got curious about it. I placed my hand on my heart and thought, "Ah, interesting. My body is producing some stress hormones right now. I wonder what this chemistry is trying to tell me?"

In that tiny moment of detachment, space opened up. The mood didn't vanish (chemistry takes time to shift), but my relationship to it completely transformed. I wasn't at its mercy anymore. And it became the foundation of what I taught in my Modern Mystic Membership today -> alchemizing funky moods!

This is the magic of energy mastery! Not forcing our way into positivity, but creating enough space to witness what's happening without being overtaken by it.

Speaking of flowing versus forcing—that's exactly what's happening with my podcast!

Season 1 of my Mystical Living Podcast was all about figuring it out. I planned episodes meticulously, has gorgeously curated guests, and approached it with that familiar "make it happen" energy from my corporate days.

But Season 2? It's flowing in the most delightful way.

Last week, I recorded episode 1 completely on a whim—sitting in my backyard with birds chirping in the background. No overthinking, just 22 minutes of pure heart-to-heart conversation about what was alive in me that day, spoiler alert it was about LIBERATION from societal boxes. And you know what? It felt SO much better.
